> Tuition Reimbursement — Our tuition reimbursement applies to all full-time and part-time associates after completing their 90-day orientation period. Tuition and eligible associated fees are reimbursed at 75% up to $2,000 per calendar year. Associates must work one hour for every dollar received through the tuition reimbursement program. In promoting healthcare careers this program is extended to spouses and dependent children of our associates for bachelor's degrees in nursing, respiratory therapy and medical technology; doctorate in physical and occupational therapy and a Pharm D in pharmacy.
> NCLEX Testing — To support you in your effort to obtain your RN licensure we reimburse the cost of an approved NCLEX review course. We also provide one week of paid time off work to study for your licensing board exam and recognize you at a luncheon for your achievement.
> Referral Bonus — We reward associates for referring great people by paying $250 up to $1,000 for each successful referral. On the referred associate's first day the referring associate receives a $25 gift card as a "Thank you". Once the new associates completes their 90-day orientation period, the referring associate is paid the referral bonus.
> Wellness Program — We offer a hospital-owned Wellness Center in which associates are eligible to join for $10 per month. Once as associate visits the center 100 times in the calendar year, they are reimbursed half of the membership fee. If the associate visits 150 times within the calendar year, they are reimbursed the entire membership fee. The Wellness Center also provides a discounted fee for associate family members.
> Adoption — HRH provides the maximum reimbursement of up to $2,500 per adopted child. The maximum number of adoptions per associate is two per lifetime. Chil adoption is for children between the ages of birth through 17 years. Associates must be employed at least one year with the hospital and work full time or part time for eligibility.
> Day Care Reimbursement — This benefit is available for full-time or part-time associates who complete their 90-day orientation period. Reimbursement will be for 20% of eligible expenses with an annual maximum of $1,000 per calendar year.
> "Healthy U" — This is a wellness program created to keep our associates on the path to being healthy. We offer several events including an annual Risk Appraisal with a free comprehensive health risk appraisal, a Weight Watchers at Work program, and more.
> Community Service Initiatives — For hospital associates we offer free monthly classes in smoking cessation, CPR and First Aid training. We also participate in the annual United Way campaign, the local "Meals on Wheels" program, 4H Fairs, and the popular one-day health screening event called "Heartbeats."
We provide speakers at several middle schools and all of the high schools throughout the year to inform students of all the many careers that are available in healthcare, as well as the value of continued education. In addition, we host luncheons and activity days for teachers, counselors and principals, and provide educational resources and other information regarding careers in healthcare for them to take back to their schools.
HRH hosts monthly breakfast meetings, where we invite community members to network and learn about 49 important character traits through the hospital's "Character First Program." We also support our local vocational/employment services organization, Shares, Inc., and our local homeless shelter, Hancock Hope House.
> Greenfield Crossing Apartments — This large apartment community offers nurses $300 off their first month's rent, and waives a $99 move-in fee and a $29 application fee for nurses. This program was established to enhance the lives of those who choose to dedicate their careers to helping the community. This program seeks to show appreciation for people like you!
